Hey EVERYONE i am new to the dodge world and have just bought a beautiful ride a 1987 Dodge Dakota, A classic! Anyways it has only 160XXX miles on it and has no rust and two minor dents. Its a real looker! but thats the problem its only a looker, my truck is slow its a V6 but still is slow off the start and slowly gets faster... I want a LOUD! MEAN! FAST! (and good looking) Truck! Tell me what exhaust i should get (been looking at dual), what i should do to the engine. What i should buy to make this truck that only has looks, Have some meanness to it. Thanks 1987 Classic

 

Dont take this the wrong way, but the only way to make it fast and loud is sell it and buy another one with a v8. Exhuast only wont make it any faster and the older 3.9 are real pigs.... nothing you can do to make it fast period. But if it looks good just drive it til it dies then sell it for parts and use that money as a down payment for a later model dakota. Anything after 1993 or 1994 is a much better option. JMHO
