33's on 1st gen dakota?
Hi
I have a 92 dakota 4x4, 318, with a 2in body lift tortion bars cranked and coil over shocks in the rear. I was wondering if i can fit 33/12.5/15 under it without cutting anything. I was just gonna go with 31's but they look small under the truck still. Just wanted to know what others have done to get 33's under there truck? show pics if you got them

I have 33x12.5 tires on my 95 dakota 4x4
I have a similar setup. 2in body lift, t bar keys, coil over shocks, and 3in add a leafs.
Your t bars will need to be cranked to the bump stops and you might need the add a leafs. Some people can get away with a 2in body lift and thats it, with no rubbing at all.
I had rubbing when I hit big bumps so i had to cut the front fenders. The fender flairs covered it so you can't see that I cut them unless you really look. I also had rubbing when I turn the wheel more then one turn so I really need some wheel spacers.
The rear of my truck sits a little higher then the front but it looka great!

You pretty much got what you need to clear 33's. Keep in mind most actual tire sizes are not true to the size indicated. And besides it is the width that you want to worry about. At 12.5in wide you will get slight rubbing on frame at full lock only. Just back off the steering wheel a 1/4in and your fine.
