244,XXX miles on my '95 V8 5-spd. I wish I had taken better care of the body though, as it would then be worth a rebuild when the time comes. But it had a hard life being outside with only one garaged winter one year. I had fought the rust until about 5-6 years back it started everywhere and then just went crazy.

What I would like to know is how those of you with auto trans in your Daks fare? Any car I've ever owned for a long time or high mileage, the trans always goes out before the engine ever does. I don't think my truck would've survived this long except that with the manual trans it's fine. Had two clutch replacements of course.

well my actual odometer is broken, and was when i got it, it stopped at a low 36,353, the trip odometer doesnt work either, so actual mileage is completley unknown but if i had to guess id say around 125 large, feels looks and runs great. best vehicle ive ever owned, i love my dakota

Somewhere around 147,200. Bought it at about 146,900. Drove it home, drove it a bit. Torn apart to fix a few leaks, runs and shifts strong. I get my license in August. It'll be running again in a month, however.

I hope to get to 200k and then buy a newer diesel. We'll see though .

95 V6 4x4 5 speed.....217400.

Just pulled a 19' Mastercraft ski boat last weekend [guessing 3k lbs with trailer and all the junk in it?] set the cruise at 70 in 5th and never looked back. Got a cool 15.3 mpg doing it too.
