Default 42RH Transmission issues 95 dakota 4x4

I recently did a fluid change in a 95 Dakota I bought used. I adjusted the bands to spec based on the 95 service manual. I put ATF+4 in it.

Now when in drive and attempting to move to second gear, the truck feels like it loses power. It does this when in second on the column as well.

I have 1st and reverse no issues with either.

Fluid level is good also.

Checked the throttle cable and its good. Planning on adjusting the linkage shortly.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Here is a diagnostic chart. See if your problems are listed. It is in the FAQ. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen...agnostics.html

I would recheck the band adjustment for second gear. Do you have a 3/8 torque wrench?
