Default Single cab subwoofer

Any ideas for where you could put one? Not looking to do anything crazy, but I'm sort of an audiophile and it annoys me not having a full sound system but I can't really see any way of mounting a sub in the cab.

Sort of debated doing marine audio equipment in a small box in the bed but I can't see doing that without spending a good amount of money on securing it and having it sound good.

There are TONS of truck sub boxes that you place behind the seats. Cheep and you can do 1 or 3-4 subs. Tons of options and it is hidden plus plenty of room for the amp back there too.

Here is 2 quick Google pics.

How much do they effect the seat? I'm 6'3" so I have to have it all the way back to even fit.

Tons of sizes. Get a tape measure and find out the Maximum size you can fit and be comfortable and find a box with those dimensions.

I was just trolling the forum when I saw this thread and remembered something I saw on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/BASS1200-10-In.../dp/B001DXF990 It's a low profile amplified sub.

Switch to bucket seats (if don't have already) and build a custom center councel with an 8" mounted in the back. A good quality 8 will be enough in a single cab to do the trick.

Apparently MTX makes a box already prefabbed for the cab. I came across this one on craigslist here in el paso

I may or may not just do the powered sub. I've already put in about $500 in the head unit and front/rear speakers which is more than I'd planned on. This truck is really just temporary til I can get another Jeep anyway. If I planned on keeping it long term I'd be interested some of the custom options you guys suggested, but I don't know if I'm even going to bother with the sub at this point.
