92 4x4 5..2 automatic.

Cruise works intermittently when using buttons. The haunted: cruise sets itself by itself with me not touching it, never know when it will set itself. any thoughts, or rituals would be appreciated. thanks

 

A short in the wiring bad vacuum lines. Just make sure the switch is turned to off and you'll be fine. If you wanted pull out the fuse. For it not working the speed sensor could be one problem.
