I have some troubleshooting to do and I would like any advice I can get. I have power windows in my truck and see, the power controls for the door and the windows operate normally on the drivers side and let me control the drivers side and the passangers side door and window. But the passengers side controls for the window does not work and the door lock works when it wants to... I tested the switches on the door panel and they work but not sure how to test the wires that connect to the switches and so thus.. I am looking for anyone with any input.. Thanks.

 

Sounds like bad wiring or a bad switch. Check the FAQ for the service manual, with a section on the windows and full wiring diagrams.

It turns out that the problem was that the switches were just old the copper on the swithes was green and not conducting electricity so i just polished up the switches, snapped it together, and now they work like new.....
