318 & 3.9 Swap

318 & 3.9 Swap
Gents,
My neighbor is/was cleaning out his garage and offered to GIVE ME a pulled 318. He said it was out of an early 80's older-style Cherokee. He claims it runs. (Hard to pass up either way...)
Can I drop this thing into my 89 Dakota (2wd) without too many mods? It does need intake and exhaust manifolds, but those aren't hard to find. My questions are basically:
1. What stuff (harness, fuel inj components, etc) can I or can't I use from my existing 3.9 that is nearly dead, and
2. Will the motor mate up to the 5-speed, which I believe is the NP2500, that's in there now?
Worth the time, trouble and $$ ?? Anything else I'll need? Anyone on here already done this?

It is possible, but the question of if it is worth it is up to you. If you got the time money and space then go for it. But it will be a big project only for so little horsepower.
