Not to hard if you get all the parts from another dakota to make it quick. As for price it is up to you where you get your parts from. $300 www.craigslist.org if your lucky. Or up to $800-up at some Junkyards where they pull it.

if you were to do it. dind another cheap mannal truck that the motors crap on or body shot. and littery park them next two each other. and take one part put it on your truck and keep. doing that.. i had a dakota that this was done to and thats how we did it. and it worked out great. i mean the frame and body got bad and i sold it. but was much funner to drive.
