So far I haven't figured anything out but I don't have any cash to dump into the project at the moment since I'm inbetween quitting and starting a new job. Although I may throw a new O2 Sensor on the truck just for the sake of it before I go for my week long hunting trip next week.

Aside from that the only other culprit could be my Gauge is hooped but we'll see.

 

Again, the gauge has nothing to do with fuel mileage. Distance divided by fuel volume equals fuel economy.

 

No but the gauge gives me an idea where I'm at with where my tank is.
And when even that unreliable thing starts getting weird like this I figure somethings wrong.

 

Start soaking your O2 now as it might be rusted in, anti seeze only lasts a decade or so.
Another thing to do is go through all your vacuum lines and check for bad rubber, make sure the caps are good also. as mentioned check the intake for leaks

 

So I'm gonna do my O2 Sensor tonight.
Attempted it about 15 minutes ago but the bloody things seized on their good like Shelby said it would. Gonna pick up a special socket so I don't strip the thing tonight and give it a good go at.

FYI the darn things rusty so I bet its pretty damn old.

 

Might try heating it with a torch. Or at least try it with the exhaust warm.

 

So the 02 Sensor is now changed and I believe theres a noticeable difference. We'll see if the fuel mileage improves though. The one that was in their was pretty damn old from the looks of it. I'll post a picture of its broken state probably later. (Broken because of the idiots who did the job for me while I was working)

I won't go into the horror story that was getting it changed through although convenient and close to work at the time with Canadian Tire. Long story short they are NEVER getting my business again for the stupid stunt they pulled on me which rooted another $100 above what I was quoted out of me.

 

Heres the old POS it is broken in half although I shoved it back together to show you guys what it looked like originally.

Idiots at Canadian Tire broke it in half and then called me saying they couldn't do it without dismantling my exhaust while not telling me they broke the old one. So here I come to pick it up and oh look my sensors broken and now I'm screwed. Dicks.
