Default weird studdering issues

I have received code 32 for EGR system failure three times now in the last several months. And the truck had been running like it was missing on at least 2 cylinders. I took it home and put my inline ignition wire tester on each of the plugs, let it run for a few minutes and never noticed it missing a beat. So I knew that each cylinder was getting juice. I bought Bosch +2s and swapped out the plugs and now it runs a LOT smoother. Trouble is that instead of the sudden drop outs from the engine when it was missing, now its a mild/barely noticeable hiccup like I got some less than great gas in it. So I have been driving it like this for a while now and I get the same error 32 code again. Aside from cleaning the existing EGR valve or replacing it I dont know what else to do with this thing. As its a very vague error message to go on. I have also done the following to take into consideration.

Fixed the plenum leak
Gutted the CC

The EGR is probably failing which is causing a vacuum leak, which can cause problems like your having. Check it out.

Indeed. This would also explain the Cruise working intermittently and weirdly when it does.
