hazard lights

Default hazard lights

Hi 94 318 hazard lights not working checked fuses i think where would that fuse be .tried a used flasher no difference all other lights work the strange thing is when i push the hazard light switch on the turn signals dont work turn hazards off signals work Thanks

There are fuses under the hood, did you check those? Did you change the hazard flasher or the blinker flasher, 2 different ones. As for the blinkers not working when the hazard button pressed, it is suppose to be like that.

check by your underhood fuse box (near the battery) for the fusible link for the emergency flashers. The wire is a pink wire. If that fusible link blows, you will lose your emergency flashers. What I did when that happened to me was install a wire with a fuse holder in place, put a 15 amp fuse and everything works just fine. You might have to remove the wiring harness from the protective sheath to access the pink fusible link.

Hi i checked the 20 amp fuse under the hood its good i will look at the fusible link thanks

Hi still working on hazards tried 2 other used Multifunction switches no change so i have opened some of the wiring harness near the fuse box next to the battery looking for a fusible link not sure what they look like .i do see wires that look like they have heat shrink on them is that it there are several .Thanks
