A bottle of HEET in the gas tank for the water removal and see if that clears things up.

i just looked at a 5.9 durango at work for a similar issue. he let it go till it wouldn't start anymore though. i hade to do plugs wires cap button pcv valve and a coil on it to get it right again. now it starts and runs strong. he had a few injectors leaking before and replaced them but then he never finished the job and brought it to me dead. might pull your fuel rail up and let the fuel system pressureise and see if any of them leak.

btw for good messure i'm trying to get the guy to put in upstream o2's since the have been bathed for a long time but he's to cheap.

Thanks for the reply guys.About a month ago I did a complete tune-up.Just before this I had checked the injectors.A few days ago I changed the fuel filter and added a bottle of heat. This had all started a few days before I changed the fuel filter.Almost 180,000 she needed it...

Also wanted to add it only acts up once in awhile.Once it goes through it's little episode (wich a few times i've had to pull over) it's fine the rest of the trip. This not a steady problem BUT,would like to find the issue before I break down.
