Ok well I have an 89 Dakota with the v6 and 5speed manual trans. I'm pretty much removing the entire drive train except for the motor. What I'm wondering is will the np435 with dodge bell housing bolt up to the v6? It came out of a 84 318 2bbl truck.

Yes the bell housing will bolt up. But as for the clutch and pressure plate I don't know.

 

That's what I thought. Cool. Clutch should be easy. Just get the same clutch for the np435 and convert it to hydraulic setup.
