Default Carbonated engine Questions

With a carborated engine what electronics are involved with the engine? When i do my V8 swap i want to do a carb not TBI because i like old school stuff and it seems simpler. what electronic stuff will i need to keep from the v6.

I don't think you should keep anything from the V6. (Don't throw anything till its done though)

If you get a LA 360 complete from 60's-90 then it will have the electronics with it, the only external pieces will be coil maybe some ignition module voltage regulator.

It would be best to pull the engine from a complete truck, find someone who is parting it out. This way you can pull everything yourself so you will know it is all there and no cut wires. www.craigslist.org always has some deals.

thanks and i want a carborated engine and i might go to the take a part by me and just get everything from the engine.
