lift kit help..?
hey guys, i have a question. I have a 94 dakota 4x4 and i want to be able to fit 33" tires without spending over 1000$. I also am going to be doing mild off roading (fields, hills etc). Any suggestions aprecitaed!
The FAQ2 is just a few posts above this one. All the lifting tips are in there.
looked through the faq2 and got some help... just another question I had that wasnt answered, you guys think this lift will work for a 4x4?? http://www.amazon.com/Tuff-Country-5...4&sr=8-1-fkmr0
No it will not work for the Dakota. If you Google the part number you would find out it is for Toyota Tacoma 4wd & 2wd Pre-Runner

The Trailmaster suspension lift kit was the ONLY full suspension lift kit 4in. They are no longer made, but there are a few being sold here or there, mostly used. www.google.com is your friend. It was sold for near $3,000
You can build a good 4in easily, 2in body, 2in Add A Leaf in the rear, indexed keys 2in in front. Part links are in the FAQ. 4in for under $200!
Also I deleted the other thread since it was a double post.

New to the forum, Dont know if this is where I am supposed to post but I am going through the front end of my 95 Dakota 4x4 5.2 with the 4" trailmaster lift kit and am wondering if anyone knows if upper and lower control arm bushings are available? or of any that would work? I think the factory ones are a little different in size. Tried a set from napa and ruind them. Ball joints, tierod ends, pitman arm and idler arm are all correct replacemnts..
Any info would greatly help! even if its "Convert it to a straight axle allready!"
Thanks
