The oil sending unit is located at the rear of intake on the left by the EGR valve

Default Anybody got a pic???

This is weird. Im old but not blind, or maby I am.Yep thats where it is supposed to be. Guess what it aint! I have the EGR valve, all its plumbing and piping, then the Distributor. Checked for it in daylight went and bought an inspection mirror looked with lights last night, degunked the area, guess i will have to remove dist cap and wires and look very closely to see if it is broken off, but since I have pressure I dont think that is the case. Also the guy at autozone could find no tech pictures for the magnum.

THanks guys so it must be smack dab up against the EGR across from the dist. Ill go pull the cap and wires, guess thats what happens when your running on the 66 year old side and dont wear cheaters. Oh well cleaned it all up hanging over the fender just had started the truck and the idle was up and down and i heard noise in the idle air motor that sounded like BB'S in there. ROFL I know old guys are supposed to drive new cars been there done that but for some reason I really like this old Dak! I have other plans for it but dont want to sound like im 16 so ill keep em to me until or till they drive the nails in the coffin

Thank's to all of you for the help. If it were a Chinese Moped, (50 to 300CC), or a Ford I would be home free but I bought a new Dakota in 2004 and that started it.
