Is there any option for a locking tailgate for our 1st gen Dakotas? I'd Like to be able to lock things in there now with the tonneau cover (it locks from the inside) I know pop & lock says they don't have any options but will a handle for another truck fit? any thought?

 

I'm sure another handle can be modified to work on the tailgate.

I would assume most tonneau covers would cover over the tailgate to lock it or the tonneau cover locks to the tailgate.
