I am trying to remove my body mounts on my 95 dakota and when I impact the bolts out, they loosen a little but than just keep spinning and spinning but the bolts will not come out. is there something I am doing wrong???

 

Just guessing but you may have broken the welded nuts off of the cab. If that's the case the only option is to cut the bolts, pull the mounts apart and weld new nuts in place.

 

ya you guessed er! I cut them off, gonna figure it out after work tomarrow.

 

My suggestion for a fix would be to get nuts and fender washers, weld the nuts to the washers and place them nut side up into the existing hole and spot weld the washers to the body in 5 or 6 places.

Oh and plenty of antiseize on the new bolts if you ever have to pull it apart again.
