Default splice like symptom.

So about three weeks ago I repaired the splice issue. However, I started haveing the splice symptoms again three days ago. Once comeing home from work. Then again going to work. Then that next morning comeing home from work it died and no amount of fiddling with the wires, and switching relays and fuses can get it to start. I also can't get any of the codes to flash. I'm starting to think the Ignition Coil itself decided to go. Anyone have 2¢ to throw in on this?

If your not getting any codes then possibly the PCM is not getting power, it could be the splices, there are a few the FAQ has the details. Or the ignition switch is bad or other wiring problems.

I had the same problem awhile back and I replaced the pickup coil under the Dist. cap. Hasn't died for about a month. Not sure if I'm just getting lucky or if it is fixed LOL But worth a try.

I tried the pick up coil. It didn't work. Going through the other splices, but I have to stop for the day so I can get ready for work. I will let you gentlemen know how it go's on the morrow.
