Default Stalling, possible fuel pump

I have a 92 5.2 automatic 4wd. It intermittently stalls. I think it is the the fuel pump. I do not have a guage. I pushed in the shcrader valve on the fuel rail and it just trickles out. Shouldn't it squirt out a strong stream of fuel and basically hit the hood? Thanks for any help.

I've had the same problem in the past, although I'm not sure about the fuel pump... Does your truck have a low idle, around 200-500rpm? If this is the case, check and clean out the throttle body. If that doesn't do anything, check to make sure your throttle cable isn't stretched out or slacked. If it is, just tighten it up snug, and that should fix it. You'll want to make sure everything small is out of the question before you get to the fuel pump/system.

Sure sounds like your fuel pump or the wiring to it. Test out for power at the pump connector when you don't have any pressure.
