Default Idling Problems and Transmission Issues 94 Dakota

I have been experiencing Low Idling problems when sitting at stop signs and lights.
My truck will hit very low RPMs and it'll almost hit 0 rpms and then rev up and if i don't hit the gas my truck will die. I've also noticed when it starts idling low for a long time, my truck's exhaust will smell like unburnt gas. My check engine light is on and when i had the auto mechanic run the computer on it, it says it's running TOO LEAN on my gas and that my o2 sensor is doing it. Also my catalytic converter is gutted but i don't think it would do anything to my exhaust or anything.

My transmission is also slipping really bad, my truck will be driving off from a stop and when i get on the gas a little bit, it'll act like it's idling and then just rev up really high as i step on the gas as i take off. When driving down the road also, it'll act like it's losing RPMs then just resume driving like nothing was wrong.
I'm just trying to fix this truck and make this truck last as long as possible, it's the most dependable vehicle i've had and i want to keep it that way, any and all comments are apreciated, thanks

Perhaps the o2 is off? It thinks its running lean, so it tells you and richens the mix. Try a new o2?
