Auto tranny pan removal
93 Dakota 5.2L 4x4. I cannot get the pan off as the exhaust seems to be in the way. Am I supposed to remove that section of the exhaust. Please help as oil is out already...

Removing or just loosing the exhaust will help. But the best way is to unbolt the transmission mount and use a jack to lift up the transmission to give some clearance. Don't forget to remove the dipstick before you try moving the pan.
