Default Putting on a carb?

Ok, so I am currently working on resplicing the ASD wires. I had it kind of cobbled together, probably not the best but should have had connection and the truck still wouldnt start. I am going to get it all squared away tomorrow affternoon to either fix it or move on.

Ive had it running and everyone once in awhile it will kinda pop off then die again. I am really hoping I can get it with correcting the splice.

What would it entail to put on a carb? Other than intake and carb. The ASD controls whether or not the fuel pump relay gets power too right?

Yes you would need an new intake carburetor as well as the ignition module. As well as the fuel pump. Then wire up all your gauges to the new system. The fuel injection system gives you better HP and TQ and MPG vs carburetors. Just make sure you have the correct power to the PCM and both relays. The wiring diagrams are in the FAQ.
