I haven't found the one on the driver side either. I just thought someone before me removed it for some reason. If you find out if there is one or where it should be let me know lol

I couldn't tell you if there was from factory, but I added in my own. It is super simple to do just get a bulb and holder from most autoparts stores $5 or so, and some wire and wire it to the door switch and a power supply off of the fuse block.

I checked the wiring diagrams in the service manual, again I found the right side one, no drivers side though, very odd, so I guess there never was one, at least on some 1st gens. Not sure of the reasoning but ya, I'm gunna add my own for convenience, thought about somehow mounting a white led strip

Thats a good idea i think ill put one of those led rope lights all the way under the dash from passenger side to driver side and run it off the passenger side wiring since it dont use hardly any amperage. Thanks for the idea Dakota
