Default 88 4x4 with a999 AT

Got this today, and it appears to be an oddity, it is 3.55 ratio axles without the OD trans.
Has over 200K miles on it, will dump the v6 and transfer case and auto trans, put in a 318, a999 (2wd), and 2.9 SG rear end...

will do.....hopefully someone here can ID the alloy wheels on it....nice 15x7 with 10mm offset.
It came with a fiberglas shell, nice wheels, bad tires....and the passenger side front axle shaft missing.

When I saw it had no OD, I thought it must be an 87 so I pulled the air cleaner, and found TBI, so apparently in 88 you could get either OD auto or regular auto trans...

got it for $500....it will be my AZ project, the thing I need to keep from watching too much TV...

not so clean under the hood....but it is an AZ truck so the rust under the body is minimal....
