Default Bosch 15704 Oxygen Sensor

I read somewhere on this forum it was bad for the v6 and v8 a few days ago, not sure where, is this true?

I bought one a few weeks ago but didn't install it yet.

Should I take it back?

What's wrong with it?

Which oxygen sensor should I use if I'm taking it back?

you may be thinking about the Bosch spark plugs, a lot of guys have said they had problems with them, i didn't.
Bosch makes O2 sensors for a lot of vehicles, there OEM retaged. you should have no problems.
i replaced mine in the 89 dak sport 3.6, it was by Bosch and worked great.

i don't have anything to do with Bosch but they are the largest manufacture of electronic car parts in the world, pretty sure GM, Dodge and Ford are buying there sensors.
but what would it take to get you to buy a more expensive after market sensor, from what i read it's only one bad review.

I just put that same sensor in my '95 V6 5spd last week ...so far doing great. My exhaust is much cleaner and I'm expecting better mpg.
