how do i change my plenum gasket in a 95 dakota 2.5 2wd 5 speed its burning 4 quarts a week

 

im moving this the 1st generation dakota section, you are currently in the 1st gen durango section, they are two different beasts.

 

I'm not familiar with the 4cly but the common intake plenum problem is on the Magnum V6 and V8's. The 4clys don't have that common issue. But if you truly need to replace it the FAQ in this section just a few posts above this one has the full service manual which will give details on the R&R with pictures.

As for the burning oil it may just be bad piston rings, bad intake gasket or head gasket.
