door panel/speaker removal

Default door panel/speaker removal

so i got some new speakers for the doors but before i go at pulling the door panels off, any tips for not breaking clips or anything i should be aware of? it looks like its never been pulled so i dont wanna f anything up

May be different on 93, but on my 90 I didnt need to pull the whole panel. The speaker cover popped right off and provided more than enough room to work with.

Are you referring to the back speaker grill or the door panel? Cause the back is pretty simple but you do have to be a little careful with the door panels.

Yup the 91?-up did not have the pop of speaker panel.


The door panel only has 2 screws on on the mirror corner and 1 in the arm rest pocket. The rest are metal clips, just pull the panel out, nothing to break.

use a screwdriver between panel and door and pop each one out. when you put back together make sure the clips are lined up with the holes and pop them back in.
