Engine swap
I have a 95 dakota that has a blown 318 in it and i am putting another 318 into it that is from a 1993 dodge 250. i got to looking at it and the fuel rails on the 95 has one fuel line connecting to it while the 93 fuel rail has two fuel lines connecting to it. Also the 93 has some kind of vacuum solenoid? that is connected to the end of the fuel rail where the fuel lines connect.
What is the second fuel line for on the 93?
Also how do you remove the braided steel lines from the rail?
All help will be greatly appreciated.

The 92-93 trucks have a return style fuel system with an external fuel pressure regulator (the "vacuum solenoid" you're seeing). 94+ have a returnless system with the regulator built into the tank/pump assembly. Simply swap the rails and injectors from the 95 onto the 93 and carry on.
The lb/hr rating (flow). Combine the older, lower flowing injectors with a PCM programmed to run with larger injectors and it's going to run lean.
