I think this was related to me lol, and good job my friend I am very jealous that you are able to start on your project, keep up the good work.
Thanks its coming along a hell of a lot better then I thought it would.
Just to give you guys an update.
I have no new pictures since I haven't had much time to work on the truck recently.
I'm gunning to finish everything this sunday!
I've got the rest of the truck sanded down and ready to go. Tomorrow night I'll be hitting it with the last of the primer I can get on without stripping the front end. Which then I will proceed to strip the front end aka the grill, lights, and bumper/shroud. So sunday is going to be a day of pure painting.

I ended up not going the paint roller route since I wanted to test out the spray can route for reasons even I don't understand. Still used Fire red Tremclad though.
It turned out real well I think, obviously a few mistakes where it ran from the spray can but I'll live with that. The only thing I'm not happy with is the roof so one of these days I may tape the truck off again and give the roof another coat just to get it looking not so uneven in some areas.
All in all though I'm really happy with how this turned out

Yea Weisel thats why it took me over a year to get to this project. I only just got the truck running solid recently with all the crud that was wrong with it/crud I broke :P
And yea buick I like having the rockguard there, protects the metal from rocks obviously. But the combination with the trim also protects my paint to when I'm 4x4in. Mud still hits it but not in massive quantities so maybe this budget paint job will last lol :P

As much as I'd like to just repaint it this summer (so far, I have only primered the hood, and done the grill), I'm debating about doing an engine rebuild. But then, by the end of this month, I'll have my buddy's '65/'66 Mustang, and possibly a '52 International L-130 (whether or not I get it is a different story). There won't be much room in the driveway. haha.
