Default Aluminum wheel fitment problem

Hi there, this is my first post, so here goes. My name is joe, I'm from Ontario, Canada, and bought this Dakota last October. It's a 1990 SE 2 door, 2 wheel drive, 3.9 auto o/d. Here's the question. Does anyone know where I can get some wheel studs that are about 1/2 " longer than stock? I bought a set of aluminum wheels from a Ford ranger to put my summer tires on, 15X7, 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern. They fit fine except the lug nuts only catch the first 1/4 " or less of the studs.

Most autopart stores will carry wheel studs. Just go find out the factory specs are and get wheel studs that are longer.
