Clutch petal link

Driving on my way home today, went to downshift and POP, the clutch petal hit the floor. A little metal ring fell out. I pulled over and the clutch seemed to work correctly, so I drove the rest of the way home.
Turns out the end of the metal rod that attaches to the clutch petal broke off. I have no idea how to get this piece off so I can order a new one. Anyone know if the part can be purchased separately, or if I'll have to buy a whole kit?
Picture of the broken part. This is looking up at the clutch petal assembly from the floor.

It is part #6 on this diagram, although I can't figure out what it is called.

It looks like it is the push rod to the master cylinder. It appears it offered in with new master cylinders

The master cylinder is non serviceable so there is no easy way to bleed it. So if your master cylinder is good, it might be best to leave it alone and just use the replacement rod.

So it turns out the push rod is actually one single piece with the master cylinder. There is a rubber boot covering the end and it is non-detachable (there is a plastic guard glued on the inside). Newer chrysler parts and aftermarket parts all have detachable rods, so I'll have to get it replaced.
