Default Replacing inner tie rod ends - 1995 Dodge Dakota

Hello,

Is it difficult to replace the inner tie rod ends on a 1995 Dodge Dakota 5.2L V8 with 2WD?

I am going to be doing ball joints and outer tie rods ends and thought I would do the inners as well.

Is this a big job? Can someone give me the procedure. Doesn't seem to be anything in the factory service manual.

Thanks

By looking at the pictures in the manual it looks like just remove the boot and un-thread the inner tie rod from the rack and pinion. But I'm not to sure they are something that may need to be replaced.

So you think inners are not a major maintenance item? Maybe I'll just do the outers and see if there's any slop. The inners are much more expensive, whereas the outers are relatively cheap.
