It's not to hard just a hours worth of work. So $90 plus the part. It is easy to do all you need is a steering wheel puller that is all.

Here is a copy and paste from the service manual we have in the FAQ.

CLOCKSPRING REMOVE/INSTALL
(1) Place the front wheels in the straight-ahead position
before starting the repair.
(2) Disconnect battery negative cable and isolate.
If airbag is undeployed, wait 2 minutes for system
capacitor to discharge before further service.
(3) Remove the airbag module. See Airbag Module
Remove/Install.
(4) Remove speed control switch and connector, if

as long as you disconnect the battery you shouldn't have a problem with the airbag other than if you remember to plug it back in. i've done plenty of them that involved airbags. everyone makes it sound harder than it is.

and our steering wheels have a groove in them so unless you grind the inside of the hole down there is now possible way to put them on wrong.

I just got a 95 ext cab and the horn, and cruise don't work. I do not here the horn relay, when hitting the horn button. I'm thinking the clock spring, but the airbag light is working properly so I'm not so sure. Can there be one good wire in there and others broke? I can change the spring harness, but I'm not convinced that's the problem. Is there another reason the horn and cruise don't work. Thanks
