Sorry to bump this, but are you saying a Chry Imperial radiator fits in a GenI? I have been measuring radiators to see if there was anything the same size maybe thicker to more efficiently cool a 5.9L

Rock auto lists several different radiators between 87-96 - 3.9 and 5.2 of different dimensions and different inlet/outlet sizes so the V8 radiators must have been different in the 92+

my gen I was in a front end collision
The Imperial radiator would be hard to find as would be the 440 dodge van to 78
both would be a tough fit (too wide)
A standard 440 Chrysler/ Dodge Plymouth radiator 73 vintage fits much easier
mine is a four core
I may have had to change the inlet or out location
tanks are available for either left or right and with different sizes
There were many more donor C bodies in the yards 10 years ago
73 440 B body (ly wagon) uses the same radiator

From what I've read the 6 and 8 rads in anything magnum powered used the same 2 core rad.

However a big 4 core would be pretty sweet, would really make an E-fan more workable regardless of fan speed

Hmm, well the Grand Cherokee used the same rad in their 5.2L and 5.9L (1998) and that rad measures the same as my 88 Dak 3.9L I know I won't find a 5.9L Jeep but there are plenty of 5.2s out there with the same radiator already equip with an efan. The Ram truck radiators are wider then mine, not sure how much wider but I do have a few inches to one side of my radiator; look on the drivers side there is a 2-3" tall cutout:

either one would be great, if you could find a ram rad with the fan thats what I would do. If not the jeep one would work perfectly fine long as it bolt up right

I can probably cut another 2" out of the window width if I have to be able to fit a Ram radiator...I will work on these measurements.

Keep us updated on how that works, if you find a ram or jeep unit that nearly bolts in that has the fans and everything I may look to doing the same to save a headache when I switch mine lol
