Default fuel line replacement

I need to replace my fuel lines on my 1987 dakota and was wondering if removing the bed would be required, if so how much do you think the fiberglass bed would weigh compaired to a normal 6ft steel bed.

you might be able to just drop the tank from underneath and do it that way, i personally would remove it since its only 6-8 bolts and will give alot more room to work. and fiberglass would be a hell of alot lighter..i got the 6ft steel and it takes 4 people to lift that sucker

I only need two people to take the bed off my 89 sport convertible.....also you could use regular fuel hose because your system isnt under that much pressure........I replaced both my fuel lines with rubber fuel hose with no problems.......

I would still use metal if you can afford it.

Yea then you never have a question about if its good or not, least for a few years...unless you live up north and have ridiculous rust problems.

if you run rubber fuel line(like i did for a temporary fix) make sure you tie the lines up and out of the way. i didn't think to do that with mine and the front driveshaft shredded the half the fuel line
