Default Engine on the outs please help

95 5.2 2wd, about 150k on the milage. About 3 weeks ago my truck died on the freeway and wouldnt start. Changed the fuel pump and it started right up. a week later my tach starts jumping around and my truck dies. Its got fuel so i changed the coil and pickup coil and it starts right up. My tach is still all over the place but its running great with no other issues. two days ago it dies again, changed the pickup coil out again and fires right up. Today im on my way into work and as im getting on the freeway the truck bucks like its going to die but picks right back up and gets me to work about 12 miles away. As im pulling into my parking place my truck dies. This time however its starts back up and and seams to run fine. im going a little N V T S nuts. can someone point me in the right direction?

Possible false alarm!!! So I posted yesterday i was having AC problems. so as im rooting around in my engine bay i see the larger vacuum line off the intake....boom AC works, so now im thinking a lean mis getting on the freeway this morning and an idle problem when i pulled in this morning which would make sense on why it started right back up. Thoughts anyone?
