95 tran into a 92?

Just saw this on the local CL: An auto trans w/ the transfer case from a 95 for a hundred bucks. Would I be able to slap that into my 92? Would it still be compatible if the trans is a V8 and Im running the v6?

yup on all counts. different dipstick tube on A 500 ("6 cyl trans") vs A518 ("8 cyl" one) but otherwise all good as long as both are 2wd or both are 4wd
I just put an "8 cyl" 518 into a 94 Dak with a 6 cyl motor

Okay hows about the transfer case, any differences there? Same bolt ups and sizes? Thats the only thing I really need. The guy says its from a V8, idk if all the V8's come with 4WD or not. Ill be looking for a V8 anyways here soon so I could save the trans for a later time
