Default Hood scoops

Curious as to how they look on the truck I've seen a few with them on it but not many straight on pictures. I want to get some but not sure what style would look good. Any ideas guys?

Are you looking just for style or function?

There are tons of universal ones www.jcw.com www.jegs.com
I got the universal ones they are peel and stick they have 3M tape that holds on really strong. After I liked the look I decided to cut open my hood and the hood scoop to make it functional.

There are lots of direct fit hoods with hood scoops.

As for the money shots, here are a few of how mine look.

I always loved the Challenger style hood for our trucks. Here is another memebers truck Moparnut38

Just style for now. If I had the money I would Deffinately be buying a hood like that.

Are they difficult to put on as far as alignment and placement?
What all would need to be done to make them functional?

I'm assuming your referring to the universal ones. It is easy just place them on the hood, move them all around to figure out where you want. Once your like it start taking measurements to get it all centered/lined up ect. Once you got it exactly where you want make some marks or trace it with a dry erase marker or something that will come off and mark the location so you can peel the tape and place it back. Don't forget to clean the area real good where the tape will be.

To make it functional will be all how you want to do it. Cut a hole in the grill area of the scoop then cut an area in the hood. It will all be custom so just figure out how you want it.
