Exclamation Clunk noise when turning steering at low speeds?

okay so i was going to my local Kmart earlier and i felt a clunk in the steering wheel when i was turning into the parking lot.. it sometimes may shake at higher speeds but its been like that for months. The control arm got replaced back a few years ago and i know it takes alot to make one go bad.. i mean alot. so im wondering if it may be the rack n pinion, maybe just the powersteering fluid is bad (leaks quite a bit) or what..

It could be tie rod ends or ball joints. Control arm bushings. Just take a look under move the steering wheel back and forth, move the tires up and down and side to side by hand and see where the play is.

check the rack n pinion, make sure it is secured to the frame. my 90 the rack n pinion came loose, almost fell off. there was a recall on it, not sure if they fixed the issue by 1995......

I just replaced the rack and pinion on my 95 with new tie rod ends also. I never had a clunk when turning but did have a clunk when the truck had been sitting awhile and once I got down to the bottom of the driveway (downhill) and hit the brakes the truck would kind of clunk and move forward just a little. Check your shocks to make sure there not bad. Also check the stuff crazy had mentioned.
