just installed rebuilt 46 rh has rev and 1st but won't shift. Any tips to correct problem

 

Take back to whoever rebuilt it. Make sure you have all the wiring connected.

 

I'm not a transmission expert but a quick thought is that the reverse band it over tight.

 

does the troubleshooter cover this?
band is good call
works in reverse?
not an electronics problem
he has an rh
and even an electronic trans would not be affected in first, second, direct
just OD and converter lock up
I do not think electronic governor would be the cause for no shift at all

 

tv cable was causing problem, wouldn't keep adjustment, bent bracket to keep adjustment and eveything is good.
