Arrow 1993 Dodge Dakota LE Extended Cab 2x4

So as the Title says, I have a 93 Dakota. It came with some Nancy mis-matched tires. Ive been looking around on here trying to find some info. 31x10.5/15 are way to big. I noticed it has airbags in the back, the back tires look good. What can I put on there that looks to have a little meat to it? I noticed there are no suspension lift kits for it and I dont have torsion bars to raise. I have the 3.9 V6 with only 114,572 miles. Motor looks nice and clean. This tire thing is irritating though. I dont want sissy passenger tires.

Air bags are not factory so someone added them in. How is your rear suspension setup? Do you still have leaf springs with the air bags on top of the axle as a tow/hauling helper spring? Or is it a 3-4 link system (No leaf springs)?

Here is a copy and paste from another 2wd lift thread, (this is the 3rd one this week)

I will move this to the 1st generation Dakota sub-forum.

Nope no lift kits but you can piece one together your self.

Get a 2in body lift, it says 4wd but it will work on 2wd all you have to do different is to cut and weld in a 1in spacer into the steering shaft, most muffler shops can do that for you for cheep.

Next is to get 2-1in coil spring spacers per side for the front (you can try to fit 3in total 1-1in and 1-2in). http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-1287/

Next is to get leaf spring add a leafs that will get you 2-3in in the rear.

4-5in lift for under $250 now that is better than any lift kit. All of these are in the FAQ2 which has more lifting ideas.
