Yesterday I heard some loud clicking from the trans area. It quiets down after warming up but its still there. I think it was coming from torque converter but im not sure. After driving home from work today I could smell burning. I pulled the trans dip stick and it smells burnt. I just bought the truck a couple weeks ago and the guy said he just got the trans serviced, the color of the fluid still appears to be new. Where do I go from here other than a shop since im broke?

could try getting it flushed, and cross your fingers. other than that might take it to a independent tranny shop for a diagnosis.
