Default 1995/96 Dodge Dakota won't stay running in gear

I have a 1995 Dakota with a 96/97 318 from a durango in it that when i first put the engine in it ran fine for 6 months. It just recently started acting up. I've replaced all sensors and the computer but nothing has helped. Somebody please help im racking my brain with no luck....
I recently replaced the computer in it and now it idles fine but when you put it in reverse it will start to back up fine then it acts like its not getting any fuel and dies and when i put it in drive or nuetral even and start to roll forward it 2 feet it dies and no matter what when it dies i have to hold throttle to floor. I hooked it up to a scanner tool and it says no communication with cam sensor but from what everybody is telling me it dont have a cam sensor......PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!
