92 2.5 electric fan runs all the time.

i have a 92 dakota with a 2.5 and a 5 speed the electric fan runs nonstop. what controls the fan to make it turn on and off like its suppose to. thanks for the help.

The PCM controls the fan, it uses input from the coolant temp sensor. Possibly your temp sensor is bad or someone hard wired the fan to stay constantly on.

ok ill check the coolant temp sensor cuz i can remove the relay for the fan and it will shut off. had to replace pcm awhile backand it did the same thing as now.
