Default Squeaking Bed/Tailgate while driving

Okay, so its been driving me insane over the last couple months.. i can kick the tires leaf springs everything in the driveway looking like an idiot trying to find out what it is.. i heard its the tailgate usually, i just greased it a few minutes ago with high temp grease.. hopefully itll stop.. any other suggestions if its not that?

I would suggest to remove the tailgate and drive it around and see if it stops. It is super easy to remove it, 30 seconds, no tools.

Next option is if you have a good long jack is to jack up the axle and drop/lower it quick to make things bouce. Do it only if you can drop it safely out of the way. Or get a buddy or 2 to jump in the bed.

I finally found the cause of my squeak....the tailpipe has come loose from the muffler. You might check that if its not your tailgate.

Mine does the same thing, drives me nuts and only does it around corners when I hit bumps at the same time usually.
