Default Chatter at 45mph need ideas

Truck has a weird chatter at 45mph. I don't hear it at lower speeds or if it accelerate it usually goes away. I noticed it might still be there when I accelerate bust not as loud. It sounds like it gets faster. I also can't tell if its in the tranny or motor for sure.

Originally I thought it was a pulley on the motor but I would think it would make noise all the time.

Is this possibly lifter chatter I can resolve by adding some marvel oil? Looking for any thoughts or if others have the same issue?

Would you be able to record a video of it and post it on youtube? It will be a lot easier for someone to figure out if we know exactly what the chatter sounds like. Try holding the truck at the same rpms in a different gear for a few minutes. If it doesnt make the noise, it probably isnt the motor.

It might be your lock-up torque converter, It comes on around 40-45 mph. You're probably right at that point where it applied and releases. Mine does the same type of thing. I haven't had a chance to drive with my scan tool on it to see if that's what it is.

I will try to record it today. Thanks for the ideas guys. I need to take the truck on a long trip and was just worried it could be something bad.

Tried recording the sound but the exhaust drowns it out. I've noticed it getting worse so took a friend of mine for a ride and he thinks its valve noise. He mentioned he had a similar issue in an old truck and it got worse when the oil needed changed. My oil is over due for change and I'm hoping that helps. I bought some of that engine "restorer" and will add it with the oil when I change it.

Sound logical or familiar?
