Default Front Axle Swap

ok i have been lookin through the forum and got nowhere, i have a 92 Dakota 5.2 4x4 and my cad system is shot and i am tired of messing with it. i wanna know what axle out of what year dakota doesnt have a CAD system that will bolt into my truck. i have replaced my diff fluid twice, my vacuum switch, checked the CAD and made sure it actuates which it does perfectly but i am still gettin a severe clunk from my front axle that i cannot figure out. i pulled my front driveshaft to eliminate the transfer case and it still did it. its at different speeds and i have found it to be more or less after a turn in either direction, after the truck has straightened out and it doesnt matter if i am slowing down or speeding up. i think the CAD is prematurely engaging and i dont know why

94-96 don't have CAD. It is a direct swap.

If a 97 will fit, I'll make you a great deal on one.
