ignition lock cylinder removal?

My keys are now missing so I am wondering if i can take the steering wheel off with a puller and just hit a release pin on these cylinders Like i could with my '86 ram?

Also this is a 1988 dodge dakota

I'm not to familiar with the early years but if it is like 92-up then you don't have to pull the steering wheel and just pull off the covering and pull the lock off.
